I heard they’re selling only womens clothes, anyone know if that’s true?
The ad I saw said women’s and juniors. If that is really true that is depressing.

I’m salty now, WTF!!
Curses! Foiled again!
(Why on Earth would their marketing people tell them there wasn’t a market for their men’s lines here? Did they just not lease that large a space?)
what is H&M? never heard of it before
The store size looks pretty typical for an H&M.
I once went to an H&M in some superhuge mall somewhere (I think Chicago…or Philadelphia??) and the store was the size of…something like the current Express at Tuttle, without all the dead space–full of clothes, nothing for men. It’s just a choice.
Although an interesting one…I agree, since when did someone figure men wouldn’t go there???
But I admit, I’m kinda pleased. It keeps the rest of H&M unique, if only for a bit. Early on, the web site indicated men’s clothing wasn’t to be at Tuttle–at best, young men’s, which is fine, here and there.
It’s too bad because I love women’s clothes, but I wear men’s clothes. And I can’t just go to H&M and look, so…hopefully I can find through others how it works out.
Because the way I’ve seen trends work here, I am guessing that everyone will have the same stuff on. People will eat it up fast.
I was perplexed today as I saw a young woman at a COTA bus stop near west campus at OSU with an H&M shopping bag (drool). How did she get there?? (That bus stop was practically in the middle of nowhere)
I couldn’t believe how many people I saw at the Dublin Whole Foods on a Saturday night, weeks after it had opened. Don’t they have anything else to do????? (I know, I didn’t either)
If it comes, men’s clothing will be even tougher as we have less options than women and the whole situation will magnify–what other options do we have here? Few. It’s tough to not wear what the next guy is wearing here.
I imagine they will do it if the current one succeeds. And I doubt it won’t. Their current store is a great test.
yea, I heard it was women’s only from another mall employee.
Well, I did some shopping at H&M today…in Barcelona!! 8)
Now having seen it, i´m even more salty they don´t have a mens dept. at the tutle one.
Spanish keyboards are fucked, there is no such thing as no smoking here really, but there are no menthols.
Adios.
I miss Barcelona. Check out all the Gaudàarchitecture you can. Oh! For great Catalan food check out Quasi Queviures on Passeig de Gracia 24.
Was in Indy for work over the weekend. Popped in H&M at the Circle Center Mall right downtown by the RCA Dome…they had a SMALL guys section, but it was better than none. Overall the store was pretty lame though…again this was in Indianapolis, but this was no European H&M…and the prices were seemed higher than I thought they should be.
Just thought I’d share.
Word … bumping this thread but Columbusite’s “I miss Barcelona” near the end (from back in Nov.) and I didn’t realize he was talking about the city, not the restaurant … the restaurant’s still there, isn’t it? :?: Hope so … haven’t gotten to eat there yet and hear rave things about it …
