The space at 51 Vine Street, formerly home to the Diesel nightclub, is now home to Granero Lounge. The owners, who also operate the Park Street Cantina and campus-area establishment Formaggio, have spent the past eight months transforming the space with reclaimed wood (granero means “barn” in Spanish).
“We are excited for our guests to experience this newly renovated club and new concept as we continue to renovate and expand the Greater Columbus Convention Center across the street,” said Convention Center General Manager John Page in a press release issued on Saturday.
The new venue is open for happy hour, dinner and late night, seven days a week, as well as lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The bar focuses on specialty cocktails, mojitos and house shots while the food menu features appetizers, burgers, flat-bread pizzas and salads.
