Today’s Dispatch has an interesting profile on the Glen Echo neighborhood, tucked away next to a ravine in between the southern end of Clintonville and the northern end of the University District. The article talks about some of the challenges the neighborhood faces, as well as the benefits of living in this secluded little area. Columbus-ite.com also has a larger photo spread from the neighborhood here.

My wife and I have lived here since March of last year and we love it.  It’s really a terrific neighborhood.

My wife and I have lived here two years, and we love it, too! The ravine is a great secret – nice for walking the dog.

I used to live on Glen Echo a few years ago. It is truly a green little treasure in the heart of the city. I have many happy memories of the ravine park, where it feels slower, like you have stepped out of time!

Rivers and creeks surrounded by natural areas are a wonderful thing to have…

There are quite a few little hoods like this towards the north starting from Iuka Ravine. They all provide a nice exception to the rule of Columbus being flat and are worth checking out.

I lived in Glen Echo on N. 4th St. for 10 years and loved it!
