German Village Featured in New York Post

A new travel article in the New York Post shines a spotlight on German Village, proclaiming that it “might just be the happiest place in the Buckeye State”. The article specifically mentions Yosick’s Artisan Chocolates, Schmidt’s Fudge Haus, The German Village Art League, Schiller Park and more. Overall, a pretty nice review of the neighborhood, and an excellent bit of national press for Columbus.

  • Nice article featuring Yosick’s!

  • Awesome article. Kristy is great, and I’m so happy to see her shop featured!

  • To bad it’s not for having a stellar octoberfest!

They must have heard about our secret weapon Juan Carrera!!!!

  • Good to see more press, but it would be nice to see another neighborhood highlighted other than German Village and the Short North. GV was cited by a land-use expert in the Dispatch as “the best example in Ohio” of a walkable community.

  • and German Village is getting something new – which initially has the presentation of the Mercantile in the Short North… just a few doors south of Katzinger’s in the former fabric shop. The name escapes me
