Evangelia Philippidis, former editorial illustrator for the Columbus Dispatch, is proud to announce the opening of her new fine art gallery, Galleria Evangelia.
The gallery, at 4269 North High St., will feature a variety of up-and-coming artists and as well as established artists. An opening reception will include the work of photographers, painters, fabric and jewelry artists, glass and pottery works as well as a large selection of Phillipidis’ scratch-board prints. Philippidis, a native of Greece, incorporates many European themes into her work.
The work at Galleria Evangelia is all locally produced, unusual and affordable.
The public is invited to celebrate the new galley at an opening reception, Friday, Nov. 13 from 7 to 10 pm. Gallery hours are Fridays 10a.m. -7 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sundays noon to 5 p.m. and by appointment. Currently the gallery will accept cash and checks only.
