Four Winds in The Short North is Closing

We are sad to say that after almost 10 years in Columbus (2 years in Clintonville, 8 years in the Short North) we are closing our retail operation. We have really enjoyed being part of the Short North community, promoting fair trade, and making a lot of really good friends in the process.

Kris Batcheck, owner-operator, manager, furniture-fixer, buyer, decorator, great listener, and my wonderful wife, will continue to offer many of Four Winds’ furniture lines and Fair Trade products through design consultations. You can reach her at: kris@fourwindsintl.com

Four Winds will be conducting a Closing Sale through the end of the month and will be open Thursday thru Sunday 11am - 7pm. More information at our webpage: www.fourwindshome.com or call 614-299-0311.

Thanks everyone, for your friendship over the years!

This is really sad. Kris is by far the nicest person I have met recently and Four Winds has been an excellent neighbor. I wish her and her family much happiness and success in whatever they do in the future.

Aw man… that sucks! I only recently started hitting up this store, but it’s always seemed to have a really cool mixture of stuff, and I thought a lot of their jewelry made for good gifts (not to even mention the store’s underlying principles).

sad.  of course it is not like i was contributing to their bottom line.  but so many other stores have come into the SN over the past 8-years and tried to sale Asian inspired furnishings.  they all failed, but 4W remained.  they also carried great lines like de la espada.  if they are putting that on sale, someone is going to be very lucky.

the de la Espada Alantico table, sideboard, and side tables are still left at 60% off.  somebody who needs some fine furniture at a discount out to get down there and make a good deal on a long-term investment.
