Recently I asked on Twitter if anyone knew what technology Zappos used for their Tracking for Zappos page. I wanted to set something up similar for Columbus. To my surprise, the CEO of Zappos contacted me and said that he'd set up a Tracking for Columbus page.
So I solicited members of the Social Media Cafe and other Twitter friends on suggested keywords and whether they wanted to be included. The result is pretty cool. Anytime someone tweets about the keywords, then that tweet will appear on the tracking page. Further, you can see the tweets of all of the participating Columbus Twitterers (identified as "employees" until Zappos can change the code).
Anyways, if you are from the Central Ohio area and want to be included on the Tracking for Columbus page, send me a message through CU, or better yet DM me on twitter. I'm @wyliemac.
