I grew sick of Kevin Smith a few years ago...
I've been growing sick of Seth Rogen lately...
But this looks like it could be funny enough to restore my faith in both.

Growing sick of Seth Rogen? From previous posts I'm starting to get this picture of you being a very hard person to please when it comes to comedy or movies in general. Currently, there isnt a Seth Rogan movie out there that I dont like. I've watched Knocked Up 5 times this week already .... and its funny everytime. Few movies make me laugh out loud .... all of his do.
Shame on you Walker .....shame ;)
This looks hilarious.
glad to see the trailer finally made it up, Smith must have been successful with the NC-17 appeal with MPAA!
yeah seth is like in everything... i can almost picture the conversation he had he was like "dude! you are kevin smith! we *have* to do a movie together" heheh

I am a little picky when it comes to movies. I don't mean to come off sounding like a movie snob or anything... I'm just particular sometimes.
I've enjoyed everything I've seen Rogen in (40yo Virgin, Knocked Up, Superbad) but in all three movies he hasn't show any sort of range at all. Some comedians have a good shtick, and that's fine, but when you're cranking out something like 6 movies a year, the shtick (Bumbling Stoner Goofball) starts to get really old, really fast. I feel like I'm listening to the same jokes over and over.
Sames goes for Kevin Smith. The world could have probably done without Jay & Silent Bob strike back, Clerks II, or the Clerks cartoon. Time for something new! :D

Yeah, I feel like all that stuff is a sticky, run-over Drumstick wrapper I found on the ground at Cedar Point. Played.
Sorry-- I am a movie snob, and if you like it, more power to ya. :D

Like "Jersey Girl?"
I guess I am a little more of the Kevin Smith generation, so I will give him a pass for mining the same territory over like J&SB and CII. His turns at comics, stand-up, Reaper influence and some hilarious bits just being himself. He is like the funny friend I never had.
A.

Just like Ernest and Julio Gallo are my two long-lost funny uncles
Bah! The animated Clerks was the bomb, yo!
The weekend after 9/11, I went to see Jay & Silent Bob with friends and laughed my ass off. It was exactly what I needed and I will forever be grateful to Kevin Smith for that.
That said, this looks great and I wanna see it.
I'm hoping Kevin Smith can get back to his "CHASING AMY" vibe, which this movie is supposed to be like.
saw this monday night, I thought it was pretty funny. I would recommend.
