I'm a big fan of the 80's BBC comedy "The Young Ones", and I think it's still pretty trenchant today.
Which kind of insufferable ideologue are you?
Are you Neil, the clinically depressed, pacifist, vegetarian and environmentalist hippie?
Or are you Rick, the self-proclaimed anarchist who is studying sociology and/or domestic sciences, who writes bad poetry, and styles himself as the "The People's Poet", believing himself to be the "spokesperson for a generation"? Rick is vegetarian, agnostic, and wishes all men to love each other like brothers, except for Neil, whom he hates: Nonetheless, nearly everything he does is hypocritical and self-serving.
Or are you Vyvyan, a psychopathic punk (today's version... the unwashed hipster crustpunk)?
...Or are you Mike the Cool Person, the suave opportunist selfish capitalist bastard?
I'm a little bit of all four! Here's a clip of Motorhead on the Young Ones.
