At the stroke of midnight today, Sirius XM Radio, the company formed when Sirius Satellite Radio and XM Radio merged in July, took the next step and rationalized its channel offerings on the Sirius and XM satellite radio services.
The most notable change is that both subscription satellite radio services will now offer a virtually identical line-up of commercial free radio stations.

This totally through me for a loop this morning. My favorite channel is going to be off the air until January and some others are taken off the air to be merged with their Sirius counterparts. I'm thankfully that the electronic channel I liked is still being broadcast online.
