I was driving by Chittenden and Summit today, and I noticed that Xalisco's has been repainted and touched-up, and is now open "under new management" as Bohemio's. Anyone know more information about this? Same owner? Anyone visited?

i went in there a couple of weeks ago hoping for a Mexican Coca-Cola, but they were busy cleaning. I mean, the way it was was very clean, but now it looks even nicer if you can believe it. I haven't been in since, but when I was there they told me they may be open by now.

Have you found any other places around town that have the Mexican Coca Cola?

The grocery store east out Morse had Pepsi, labeled as containing sugar in the 12oz glass bottles last time I was there, but that's all I've found so far.

So Jenny and I ate at Bohemio's on Saturday afternoon.
It was really good and I'll definately be going back.
Chips: Good
Salsa: Fair, but I spiced it up with some of their house made hot sauce.
We sat out front on their patio seating and each had a few tacos (mexican style: soft corn tortillas, onion, cilantro, cucumber, radish, etc.) and I had a couple cheese enchiladas. The taco's where $1.25 (cheaper than the taco truck on Fifth!) And they were REALLY GOOD!
The rest of the menu was pretty typical, although some of the entrées were surprisingly a tad expensive. When I go back it'll definitely be for more tacos, enchiladas and beer.

I do adore my neighborhood taco truck, but I'll definitely be checking this out. Did they have any "unusual" tacos like the old place did???
tongue or cheek maybe???

No just the regular al pastor, asada, chicken, etc.
You could ask though? Lengua or cachete, mmm.

Nom nom. I'll check it out and I'll ask them. I guess the taco truck can continue to satisfy my lengua craving if these folks don't have it.

Are we talking about the taco truck next to the mexican grocery on 5th? I might skip Vic's for lunch and go there instead.
Mmms.

Yeah, I went there last night with a raiding party did the late night dinner thing.. I had the chorizo and eggs burrito which was pretty damn good (although a bit sloppy). They were out of linguas (at 9:45PM, I'm not surprised), but they seemed to have plenty of other options.
THe deal is you get your ticket from the guys in the truck, and you take it in the store to pay for it and get your ticket stamped. The store also has a pretty good selection of Jarritos sodas and other Mexican goodies.
