Ever want to participate in a documentary? This is your chance!
WOSU Needs You for the Columbus Neighborhoods Downtown Documentary!
WOSU is currently producing the historical documentary about Downtown Columbus, Ohio as part of its Columbus Neighborhoods documentary series. The documentary will premiere on February 14, 2012, the exact date that Columbus became a city!
Producers of the show need folks to articulate – in 25 words or less – why they love living in Columbus. Participants should be ready to complete this sentence….”I love Columbus because…”
Feel free to be creative! Everyone loves the Buckeyes but what else about Columbus makes it a great place to live? What’s your favorite place in Columbus and why? What do you call someone who lives in Columbus? Do you prefer Schmidt’s Cream Puff or Jeni’s Salty Caramel? Have fun!
This will be a videotaped interview that will be screened for possible use in the documentary. Others completed interviews will be broadcast throughout 2012 on WOSU Public Media to celebrate the bicentennial of Columbus.
Families, couples, friends and groups are encouraged to participate. The more the merrier!
Show your pride in the great city of Columbus!
There is limited space so reservations are required by October 24.
We’ll be on the west side on the lawn. Parking is available at the statehouse parking lot underground.
