I would like to thank EVERYONE who came to this. Wow, we were estimating / hoping for between 1500 - 2000 people. The latest estimate has it just shy of 4000. It was truly an amazing experience for me and my fellow performers. My wife and daughter were a couple of the 'extras' and seeing my little girl hugging and dancing onstage with the other little kids during "With a Little Help" has already become one of my best memories.
I think we raised a good amount of money for Actors' theater as well(I'll post the amount once I know it.)
Thank you CU for also supporting this venture. It was a blast seeing Catnfiddle, Heysquare and Patient Zero right down front and interacting with them a bit during the show.
@Chris, the extras donated their time, but yes we took a little bit of a bath. However, we think that it helped both Shadowbox and Actors' Theater and created a new type of event in Columbus, so we see it as investing in the future of Columbus entertainment. ;)
Again, thank you thank you thank you all for helping make this so successful. If you can't tell, I'm still feeling the rush. :)
