2 questions-
what is cubicle art exactly? artwork made inside 4 walls as opposed to an open floorplan? does that mean you're in favor of an open floorplan, where your supplies and work arent secure? im not sure how putting a door on a space to keep your work safe and private is a negative quality. please explain...im not understanding.
how is the lottery supposed to work? are tenants based on artistic ability and portfolio submissions, and if so, who is jurying? is it just a random system where folks pick numbers? what is the plan of execution for carrying out a lottery process as a way to allot studio space?

So...I defended TOOP. No more. I won't stand up for a site that allows commenters to post vile slurs about someone AND their family, ie. “Her husband looks like a super butchy lesbian" and "She a corpulent fat blob" - and then won't allow anyone to call said commenters out on their hypocritical and juvenile bullshit.

Wonderland executive director sues Udderpaper, drops lawsuit in final hour.
Dropping the lawsuit means there has to be some veracity to the claims in that blog. It must have been a scare tactic that backfired when the rubber hit the road.
Frivolous lawsuits never reflect well on organizations or individuals bringing them.

Aha! Thanks for pointing out the difference. As someone who didn't follow Wonderland too closely I'd kind of forgotten about it once redevelopment of the space started.

you'll recall the hoopla started because the dumberpaper was tossing about unfounded accusations of sex crimes, and yeah, that's the kind of thing that gets lawyers involved.

Wait, aren't civil protection orders just restraining orders? I thought you could only get a civil protection order for either being the victim of domestic abuse, or the victim of stalking / sexually orientated offense. I would assume in this situation the plaintiff is accusing the defendant of stalking?

What is the difference between a Civil Protection Order and a Civil Stalking Protection Order?
If the abuser is:
related to you by blood or marriage
a spouse or ex-spouse
someone with whom you have had a child
someone who has lived in your home within the past five years... you will need to file a Civil Protection Order.
If the abuser is:
someone you do not know
someone with whom you have no relationship or with whom you have had no relationship within the past five years... you will need to file a Civil Stalking Protection Order.
