sigh, not going again this year... i just can't justify some of those covers. sixty bucks for a geezer who hasn't produced anything interesting in the past decade? yikes.
anyways, the amenti session with olivier desmet & lawnchair generals looks like a winner.

Jason has it mapped out! I went one year and literally walked around with this 20 page print out of parties trying to decide which to hit next..... I don't think my old bones could handle that anymore. I can't even tailgate for four hours let alone party a week straight!

Buy presale and follow Jason Allen. He's turned me on to so many great artists like Mylo, Booka Shade and Claude Von Stroke.

I need a nanny.

Oh my goodness, I'd love to see Cedric Gervais. I saw him when I was last down in Miami about five years ago, and he played an amazing set.

I will be down there Wednesday until Tuesday. Still sorting out my schedule. I just got tickets to the SanderK/Desyn Yacht party for Thursday. Boat parties are by far my favorite. Went on the Sasha and Digweed yacht last year and it was amazing. Probably will be at B.E.D. for Danny Howells on Wednesday for his 7 hour set. That space terrace event with Lawler and company on Thursday also looks tempting. I will most likely find myself at ultra on Saturday. Somebody already mentioned RA, which is good. Here is another forum that lists all the events (more added each day!), clubs, hotels, food, etc.....

Ultra is a two day outdoor event... more of a festival. It's fun, but not as intimate as going to the pool parties and clubs. This is my first year not going to Ultra. So, it depends on what you want to do. There are a lot of cool day time parties Friday and Saturday that may interest you more than Ultra.
Check out the link Naps left (Residentadvisor.net) and go to the WMC page, you'll find a list of events for each day.

I really wanted to see Carl Cox but it seems like you have to buy the Ultra Tickets in order to do that...I have never seen him live and think he is fantastic.

Carl is badass and one of my all time favorites to hear live... he bangs it out! It appears you'd have to go to the festival to see him. I'd recommend going if that's what you want. You'll have fun!

This is going to be expensive!!! I wish there were a way to get sponsored to cover the event....yoooo hooo Walker, maybe CU could sponsor some people to attend WMC and report back ;)

The Spectral Party: "The Return of Losing It" is on Friday night. If I had to pick one event that will stand out from the rest, this would be it. The quality will be the best in Miami. Limited ticket sales, so if you are interested, I would purchase soon... AND, it's only $15!
