My grandpa, who has probably tried every wine out there ever, helped a friend of his start up a wine company and is now on the Board of Directors (Donald E. Petersen). The company is called Long Shadows, Distinguished Wineries and Vineyards. It started up small, and while it's still a small company, now has 7 vineyards.... all, I believe, in Washington.
I love wine, and so does my husband, "Daz", but we are by no means aficionados. So, I thought I'd throw this post out there for all the wine enthusiasts in case they were looking for a new wine to try out (you can order online, now, even). I believe, out of all their wines, the lowest score that they've received on a review is 89 (the reviews are posted on the website). http://www.longshadows.com/
Okay, so while this all sounds like shameless advertising, (lol) I swear I have nothing invested in this I just wanted to let people know about some really good wine!
