HI-New England operates five seasonal hostels on the Cape, Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket. From a historic life-saving station to a recently renovated Sears Roebuck Kit House on Hyannis Harbor, the hostels provide travelers with eco friendly lodging options. HI-New England launches the Bike the Cape contest. Winners will receive a FREE bike trip of the Cape and Islands from June 17-23.
HI-New England will provide a group of 2-3 people with:
One night at each of the five Cape and Island hostels, totaling 5 nights per person. Breakfast is complementary at all Cape Cod Hostels.
Trip must take place between June 17-23, 2011. Contestants must select 5 desired nights out of the seven available.
Ferry transportation.
$300 food stipend for the group.
How to Apply!
Go to http://capecod.hiusa.org and complete the brief application, including short response.
Sign the photo release form.
Submit a link to an entertaining, yet brief (less than 5 minute) YouTube video introducing each team member and why you want to bike the Cape. Links to videos will be posted on the Cape Cod Hostel Facebook page.
Winners will be selected based on Facebook fan feedback, and quality of short response entries. Written responses should focus on the practicality of the selected route, and how easily it can be duplicated.
