Lake Katharine is really one of the most magical places in Ohio. This hike should coordinate with the beginning of the blooming of Lady Slipper Orchids and the end of the blooming of the Big Leaf and Umbrella Magnolias. There is also a old growth forest of sweet gum ball trees that will knock your socks off.
