Walker did you get your Nintendo yet? My friend just called me and said he got one at the target in Dublin an hour ago and they had a few more. Might want to call them first though.

Just what I was told by a buddy. :( I guess he got lucky or told me the wrong store.

Dang. :(
I'm going to call around tonight to see if any places got any second shipments today. Hopefully I'll luck out.
Thanks for the heads up though!!!

Walker did you get your Wii yet? I'm going to borrow it for 3-6 months if that's alright. So if you come home and it's not there and your window's broken it was probably me.
Oh, I also need to use your Technics 1200s. And your bathroom faucet. And your wallpaper. Let's not end up making a big production out of this, okay?

You must have borrowed our wallpaper before we moved in because our walls have always just had paint.
BOO-YAH!

No News must = bad news for walker and his quest for a Wii. Will any stores have them on "black friday" now that is the question heh.

Yeah... I called around 20 stores last night... Walmart, KMart, Best Buy, CompUSA, Meijer, ToysRUs, MicroCenter, Target, etc. None of them had any and none knew when they'd get more delivered.

I read that Gamestop is getting re-stocked today (PS3 too).
And that ToysRUs will have more on Friday.

I heard the same thing about Gamestop too. A meijer dude told me that they'd be getting more on the 28th, but it would probably be only 3 or 4.
I CAN'T WAIT THAT LONG, BUDDY!

Well maybe by then they'll at least have more than one game that's worth playing...

I bet Walker has been holding his controller he bought without the system and pointing it at his TV with a little boy sad look on his face :P

True, the launch titles aren't that strong, but I think Zelda and Wii Sports will occupy my time nicely for awhile. If not, Trauma Center looks awesome. Also, I have about a dozen gamecube titles I never got to finish playing... and I plan on downloading a few classic titles (replaying through Zelda for NES sounds like fun to me).

OMG! HAVE YOU BEEN SPYING ON ME?

No luck on the Wii yet? I played it at Microcenter on friday (I was there around 11am and there was no line in sight so I don't know what other people saw). Anyway, it's pretty fun that's for sure.

Got mine this morning!
My boss picked it up for me when he was out, cuz he knew I was looking for one. Christmas has come early for me!

Nah, I was busy all weekend, and there was no way in hell I was shopping on Friday anyway.
I'll probably just keep calling stores this week. UGH.

My xbox360 just broke this weekend. It made a weird beep, locked up, and then just wouldnt boot up! Very weird!
Time to call MS support. :(
Posted 5 years ago # -
Strange. I'd check online at some fan-run sites to see if that's a common occurance. I'm sure Microsoft will fix it or replace it for free. Typically they're willing to eat the cost on defective units to keep you buying games. 8)

I was told that the EB Games on campus had some Wii over the weekend. Most likely out by now, but worth giving them a call.
