I'm just not in the mood to work. I was super stressed about having so much to do last week and I think I just got burnt out.
You're on here and not working, aren't you? What's your excuse?

The baby just fell asleep. Time to relax a little bit :)
^ in my case, I'm running tests.
It's sweet.
Because I can only listen to so many minutes of an online physiology lecture before I start zoning out...
Summer break until August 20th! I'm actually in Philly for a couple of days visiting a family. Found a bartender who attempted to make a sidecar for me. He sugared the damn glass without asking me.
Sorry, you were asking something?
Day off! Had lunch at the North Market and dinner from Bangkok. Much enjoyment was had on this uber pretty day.
I've been doing PR-type things the last three days, that could be considered transferable skills. Next week, I'll have more time to devote more to the job search.
My job has forced a certain amount of ADD on me - this is what I do when I'm solving something in the other part of my brain.

(work at a simular company)
I find if I try and force a solution to something by trying harder, it's more elusive. Breaking away, no matter how brief, and then returning to the problem often makes another solution appear.
Busy morning installing software which is boring drudge work. I'm taking a break before I do the fun stuff :-)

Agreed. Too bad I can't charge Columbus-Underground-surfing to the job though. :)
I'm on hold for a conf. call now ...
Everything I do goes into a pile that my supervisor reviews. I have a pile big enough that it will take him 4 months to go through it. Also, some of my work there has been waiting for over a year. So, there is not much point in getting any more work done. For gosh sakes, I don't want my supervisor to get behind reading the sports news all day.
