Buy a Bus! COTA Public Auction Is This Saturday
The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) will hold two public auctions and offer items for sale to the highest bidder on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010.
At COTA’s First Transit Facility, 3700 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43228, the following items will be auctioned:
· 1995 Flxible Buses (37)
· 1996 Chevy car (1)
· 2001 Chevy car (1)
· 2004 Ford cutaway (1)
· 2000 Vans (2)
At COTA’s McKinley Avenue Facility, 1600 McKinely Ave., Columbus, OH 43222, the following items will be auctioned:

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Items are “as is, where is and no warrantiesâ€Â.
Successful bidders purchasing items costing $25 or less shall be required to pay in cash, cashier’s check or money order for the items at the time of sale.
Successful bidders purchasing items costing more than $25 shall be required to pay either $25 or 20 percent of the total bid, whichever is greater, in cash, cashier’s check or money order at the time of sale.
Successful bidders will be required to pay the balance of the bid amount by 4 p.m., Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, in cash, cashier’s check or money order, and will be required to pick up the items by 4 p.m. on Sept. 29, 2010. Items not picked up by Sept. 29, 2010, will remain the property of COTA and the money deposited at the time of the sale will be forfeited to COTA. COTA may charge a storage fee of up to $20 per day for each item not picked up by Sept. 29, 2010.
