for those of you that do follow pro football, who is your team and how are they doing so far this year? I have been a diehard N.Y. Giants fan ever since i was a kid. Through the good years and the bad, i have never turn my back on them. As of right now, they are 5-2 and have one of the top defense in the NFL. They are looking very strong. Eli is growing more into his role which is very good. The G-Men are a team to deal with.
How is your team and are you still a fan even if they are not doing well?

I'm a diehard Browns fan. Always have been. And yes, that's meant some pretty hard times.
That said, I have to admit, standing at 3-3 right now is enough to make me happy. All of a sudden the team has an offense! It may still be fairly inconsistent, but it's better than no team at all! The fact that Derek Anderson has been good enough to prevent Brady Quinn from being immediately thrown to the wolves is a big win in and of itself, and wins over Baltimore and Cincy are great news, since the team was winless in their division last year.

I'm an intense Seattle Seahawks fan.
It really has been a hard one to work with. They're winning their division right now, but they're only 4-3. With their bruiser fullback who could catch option passes well (Mac Strong) retired, and Shaun Alexander having his broken hand... the running game took a huge hit.
Not to mention having Deion Branch out doesn't help anything either.

I gave up on the NFL when the expansions started going nuts. Couldn't keep track of my guys and stopped caring.
Prior to that though, I was a Raiders and Steelers fan big time, particularly during the Steelers v. Cowboys heyday.

Forever the Broncos...unfortunately they are 3 and 3. My second fave would be Tampa Bay.

ive been a browns fan forever... which is great because you dont ever have to worry about fair-weather fans ruining the fun. cough Cincinnati cough... im a firm believer that the term "who-dey" means "now that the bengals are good, i am a cincinnati fan" (of course i havent heard many who-deys this year... no surprise.)
but yea, im quite happy with where the browns are currently sitting... we could go 4-3 this week!

I was told I had to pick a team when I moved here, and since I had Carson Palmer on my fantasy team and he was really producing, I picked the Bengals.
I will not falter with their crappy record.

Woo hoo! PRO sport talk and not college!
I have been a Pittsburgh Steeler fan my whole life. I grew up about 35 minutes from Pitt, but in Ohio lol
They are 4-2 this season. Which I am highly disappointed in. They played REAL shitty on Sunday and I am actually embarrassed by our loss to the Broncos. When watching the game it seemed like Ben had some type of magnetic field around him that just drew Bronco's into sacking him. lol
And the two interceptions along with the fumble he lost (that did get returned for a touchdown)...just made me upset.
Granted this wasn;t a landslide win by Denver,31-28, and did come down to the final seconds with a winning field goal....i just think Pittsburgh made a lot of mistakes and played poorly.
(trust me this hurts me to say all this)
But all in all......GO STEELERS!!!

THAT was a Steelers team that you couldn't be ambiguous about. People either loved them passionately...or hated them more than their worst enemy.

alright!!! another Giants fan. After this week playing Miami which should be a no contest, they have a bye week and then the big game at 415 against the Cowboys. that will be the most watch game that weekend. that could be a battle for 1st place in the NFC East. GO GIANTS!!!!

trust me, If I had even been born when they played, I would have been a fan :lol: But, I grew up in the Yancey Thigpen time frame....we've had good years, but also some bad one. Just gotta stick with em :P

I was converted from a Jets fan to a Bills fan when I lived in Western New York. Been a fan for twenty years. Seen a lot of good, and no so good teams and games.
Could never be a fan of the Browns. I hated them when I was a Jets fan. and what's the point of rooting for the Bengals :lol:

I was born into Browns superfandom. My family had season tickets in the Dawg Pound for years. When they moved to the new stadium some of them relocated to box seats, but the craziness remains. We still all make the annual pilgrimmage to Berea for a day of training camp and detailed analysis of players who are only two weeks away from bagging groceries. We still tailgate in the snow. We still look forward to "next year".
It's like a sickness.

I love the Patriots and the Packers. I started watching in 8th grade, but I haven't been following it much so far this season.
