Fixed. Everyone must be bored at work. You guys are bogging down the server today.
Anyway... carry on! ;)I have been very active on CU for the past 36 hours because I have a huge deadline Friday and using every opportunity to avoid working...but I did notice that I must not be the only one, because CU and twitter are blowing up. I was just thinking last night "everyone must be procrastinating..."
this is me. until recently, i didn't know my eyes were 2 different, wonky sizes. i kind of have a hangup about it now...

and of course, being a good Midwesterner, I didn't put in my favorite picture of myself...that's on facebook.

This is me hugging a concrete corn cob in Dublin. There's a field FULL of those things! Since the weather is warming up I'll probably switch to the pic of me from the DooDah parade, wearing a huge floppy hat.Hey Cat--I know the grandson of the person for whom that "corn" field was planted! When he told me about it, I immediately thought of your picture!! I should introduce you to him!!
BTW, that's me, Molly, in my avatar. It was Christmas tree decorating day at my parents' house.

If I remember correctly, it was Walker! I think I'd asked Daniel, but our fearless leader hooked me up instead! :)

I'm Amy and that's a drunker version of me in my avatar. The photo was taken at Mike's Grill after all.
I would also like to dorkily request more information about you guys!
I'll start: I'm 32 (which hit me hard for some reason). Divorced. Mom to a delightfully dorky son. Work in the recruiting industry and have for 10 years. Lover of bourbon, extra-pulpy juices and all things bread and cheese related. I am a master at throwing parties where the main ingredient for most snacks is cream cheese. Didn't own a TV for 6ish years and now all I watch is terrible reality programming or the occassional TLC/Discovery medical freak show. I guess that's it.

@Amy - you look WAY younger than 32!!! I'm older than you, if it makes you feel any better. ;)
other info:
I still dress like a frumpy skater chick 15 years later. Jeans, tee shirts, hoodies or cardigans. when i dress up, i still feel frumpy. i think it's largely related to my horribly frizzy hair.
i love Simple Shoes.
i'm a foodblogger (who sometimes eat instant noodles and taco bell), and i wait tables. But i'm on my way to becoming a real writer.
i am a comic book nerd. i remember when no one else knew who Neil Gaiman was. (mostly DC Vertigo stuff, not heroes)
i am a self-loathing poet who hates poetry. (except Japanese poetry and william carlos williams)
I'm a wannabe artist and photographer. But I don't like artsy photos.
i think pulpy juice is creepy.
i love bourbon and rye and Speyside whisky, also non-juniper-y gins, Tito's vodka, cheap beer in cans, and riesling.
I still feel like i'm 17 most of the time, but I'm really glad I'm not.
When I get really old and die, I will probably be that lady whose cats eat most of her before anyone starts missing her.Posted 2 years ago # -
My avatar is me. I was being sneaky with one of Bear's dishtowels. About time for a new one I'd say.

Ya know, I just realized I never gave my name. It's Heather, although I do answer to "Cat" when it's someone from here. Cat actually refers to, well, my CAT Pandora.
