I absolutely love Whit's and was ecstatic when I found out they were opening a Columbus location; it's a lot closer than the Delaware location lol I like their custard a lot better than Rita's; texture's better as well as the flavor. Also love how they have flavors of the week (as opposed to Rita's changing random flavors every day).
Haven't read all the posts above mine, but I saw Jeni's mentioned somewhere in there. I don't really think it's fair to compare the two because they are different desserts, and also because Jeni's is in its own lane completely with its exotic/unusual flavors and whatnot. Both are good, but don't have Jeni's (or any other local ice cream) place in mind when you try Whit's; just try it lol.
One last thing: I highly recommend their espresso flavored custard. Alright, I'm done rambling :P lol
