@hungrywoolf - My experience on Monday night was really similar. We waited about an hour and 20 minutes and finally just left. It wasn't like people weren't working hard or there weren't tables, but the place clearly lacked any management.

That's really too bad. The food is clearly a notch above similarly priced restaurants but no, the service isn't up to par yet. Maybe they haven't been able to keep up with the big spike in customers this week. Did you have a reservation?
On a better note, we dined at Moretti's last night and they just might have the best marinara and bread combo in Columbus. The entire meal was fantastic but the veal meatballs were wow factor! The place was really packed too.

They had to have been understaffed and I think there is no excuse for that. But again, when I was there, I would have given the staff that waited on us a 10/10. I suggest going a little earlier and seeing if you have a different experiance.

@surber we sat in the bar area waiting on a table. Tables became available, but they weren't properly staffed to manage it. We decided to leave after we overheard everyone else bitching.

I don't read The Other Paper.hahahahahahahahaha
Am I just picking the wrong topics or does this literally happen in every thread? If you're talking about you pointing out that some people don't read a free newspaper.. then it seems like yes.. almost every thread.
Seems that way to me too..
If it makes you feel any better, sometimes I read TOP, but I usually hate myself right afterward..

^I just saw this after two years, made me laugh. Not sure if catnfiddle saw it, either.
Heading to Columbus Brewing Company for Beer Battered Asparagus Fries and Pecan Chicken (or maybe the Barrell-Cut Sirloin, but it's tossed with green beans - not a fan).
Can't wait to see what's on tap tonight.
