I'm pretty excited about Restaurant Week next week. I've been to Atlanta's and it's a blast -- maybe because there's extra money for wine with the lower prices :) Planning to go to Sage Bistro as I've fallen in love with that place. Any other recommendations from the list?

I've been meaning to try Rosendale's but know it's pricey, I think that $25 price point should seal the deal for me. If you haven't been to Sage I highly recommend it. I'd love to hit up Hyde Park but my wife is a vegan :(

He just sent out $20 off coupons when you purchase two meals (items from the center of the menu)
Cant beat that!
Try the Potato puff appetizer. I don't work at Rosendale's, I swear!

All the restaurants that are participating deserve kudos for supporting this.
The Dine Originals Restaurant Week was awesome and I look forward to the next one in September.
For this Restaurant Week: I have been to the following places and and would suggest checking them out: The Rossi, Sage, Lindey's, CBC. I have not been to the new version of Rosendale's but for the price....worth a trip.
As for the others, Restaurant Week is the opportunity for these spots to lure in new customers by giving people a sample of the best they can do. So try out as many places as you can so we can continue to have events like this. If it turns out we have 3-4 per year...even better.

And Moretti's...... that is a good place and the $21 combo - looks like a good value.

Thanks for suggestions! I have been to Moretti's once and really enjoyed it. I could spend an hour with the bread, marinara and a bottle of wine! LOL You seem to know what you're talking about so of all the Italian places on the list, which is best?

@michael & @snarf - Every Thursday night a group of the most random gentleman you could imagine visit a restaurant to eat steak and have scotch. We've had visits from fellas like WildScotsman pouring his own to stand up comedians to Internet geeks, etc. 2 - 3 Thursdays of the month we do what we call a "Cheap and Cheerful" Thursday at a less pricey place. Every now and then we step it up and go somewhere like the Top or Mitchels.

Hmmm, I didn't know 614 was behind Restaurant Week but I love that magazine. Kinda weird that the title of my post was changed.
Posted 2 years ago # -
Exactly Kbear! Seems like there might be some sort of agenda behind changing the title of my post.
Posted 2 years ago # -
If I were to guess, it was switched because there are two different restaurant weeks in Columbus and each has a different set of restaurants. Showing up at a place represented in Dine Original's restaurant week and expecting a prix fixe special would lead to disappointment. I'm glad that there are so many restaurant weeks!

well…there's another event titled "restaurant week" that already took place, so a change in the thread title, conspiracy-laden as that choice might have been, will serve to differentiate this discussion from past discussions about the previous event. my 2 cents.
Posted 2 years ago # -
Ah, makes sense now. Thanks for clarifying there is no conspiracy! :) Anyone out there going to help me with my Italian restaurant question??
Posted 2 years ago # -
It seems the title of the event, 614 Mag's Restaurant Week, is in and of itself conspiracy generating. Say for instance, if the event was named, Mid-Ohio Food Bank Restaurant Week sponsored by 614 Mag, perhaps there would be less speculation over the focus of the event.
But anyways, this is a nice opportunity to have a nice meal with my parents who are visiting Columbus. Besides of course the golfing and cabrewing we plan on doing.

614 mag owns restaurant week, that's all there is to it. I don't understand why everyone can't accept the facts. geez people....geeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........
