I'd say 4th and Detroit :)

That depends on how you feel about fried chicken.

From a residential perspective, probably any of the corners adjacent to Goodale or Schiller.
From a commercial perspective, maybe High & Brickel/Lincoln.

Buttles & High
Crestview & Calumet
Beck & Mohawk
Many others...Posted 2 years ago # -
Grandview and 3rd is a great corner, though I wish the Grandview Cafe were a little less fratty.
Gotta love excellent restaurants, a great craft beer shop, an historical and independently-owned theatre, and even real-life necessities (Giant Eagle, CVS) within one block in any direction

I'm a sucker for the corner of S 5th St and Kossuth - looking towards Schmidt's. It's a lovely corner, with it's funny angles and the way the buildings squat up to the road - especially during the holidays - and it usually means I'm about to consume sausage.

Yeah, I'd have to say Buttles & High. Lived there when we first moved to Columbus, and it's felt like the center of town ever since...

Especially on an overcast, fall day.
For reasons that make absolutely no sense to me, especially because I don't tend to like Dairy Queen much, I've always loved the corner of Indianola and Arcadia. I've just been drawn to it my whole live, even though I've never lived all that close.
I also love the corner of High St and Hudson, because it feels somewhat stuck in time:
1940s

High & E 3rd. CCC, LNS, and Bodega. What more could you want?

Busiest:
Vine and Park/Front Sts at 11pm-1am on Saturdays.
Lane Ave and Tuttle on gamedays.Posted 2 years ago # -
15th and high, the heart of the osu campus. Osu is the most important thing in columbus, and that is right in the middle of it.

heh...along that same vein, I'd consider any of the corners around the 'Shoe at the top of the list!

State Street and either Main or College in Uptown Westerville, because they have the Main Street feel to it, and it's walking distance to the school formerly known as Otterbein College
15th & High up at (the school now known as) NOSU
High & New England or 161 (only because of the green in all four corners) in Olde Worthington
High & Buttles- it's that popular, hahaha...
Main & Drexel- Greaters, Drexel Movie Theatre, Capital University (eww)
Pablo- what is at Crestview & Calumet that makes it a good corner?

Ya know, I'm getting laid off for a couple of months and told it's Summer Vacation. Maybe I'll use this thread as a way to tour the city. There are still so many little nooks and gems I haven't explored yet. Anyone want to join me on some of them?
