I have google searched to no avail. Can anyone on the boards help me find a company who rents and or sells ice cream carts or trucks? (I'm thinking rad dog might be able to help, since he has a street cart.)

No, but they might have suggestions for where to buy one since you know, they bought one :)

just called ice cream cart rental. They do not rent ice cream carts for the purpose of selling ice cream. They only cater to business events, etc.

Are you looking to run the truck yourself, or do you just need a truck full of ice cream in a specific location? Schwan's will rent you a truck, but it's more for catering as well.

I'm in the beginning stages of thinking about selling homemade ice cream sandwiches before OSU football games. Right now I'm looking into permits/licenses, rental companies, and vendors to see if it is feasible.

I doubt rental is an option, that removes the barrier of entry for street cart vendors. You're probably going to have to pony up the cash to buy one. Considering some of the POS ice cream trucks I've seen driving around, it shouldn't be too hard to get a hold of one on the cheap.
