My wife's 20th class reunion is coming up soon and is looking for a nice dress. Since it is a 20th class reunion, you can approximate her age. She is looking for something stylish yet age appropriate at a reasonable price (~$100). Any retail suggestions to where she can look in the greater Columbus area. She visits Tuttle quite frequently and hasn't had much luck.
Any advice?

Well, that depends on your lady's style. Age has nothing to do with it, she could enjoy a vintage number, or be more of the tweed set, or go with natural fibers or even dig the polyester. If her tastes are for conventional fare I'd say stick to the malls. Polaris or Easton may have a couple stores that are different than Tuttle, so try there. If she want's something more rockem-sockem, there's a few stores in the short north that carries more vintage stuff, but they can be pricey. If she likes that idea, she can also try Clintonville, there's a few stores up there as well such as Rag-O-Rama (they sell used clothing and have unusual choices, but the prices are good and she may find something she likes). She could also try the thrift stores themselves... could get lucky that way.
Other than that, look online. You can find great deals except you do run into the problem of not being able to try things on.

If you're willing to take the plunge into online shopping, you could always give Bluefly a try. (Or Revolve Clothing, but you're likely to find mostly items north of $100 there even on sale. A few gold nuggets are generally available, though. I got my current pair of walking sneakers from there.
Locally, I agree with mightymighty. Conventional mall stores are safe. Cache might be a little on the high end but could have something in your range. Deb, Dress Barn, etc. are all over the place.
So many changes to look forward to. At one of my high school's recent 5-year reunions (not my own, one of the classes after me), both girls and guys were showing up in jeans. They had it at a bar up in Newark or Granville.

They certainly had great stuff for the casual wardrobe (jeans, polos, button-downs, etc.) and business wardrobe (suits) when I was there last, but obviously, I wasn't looking for a dress. Wasn't going to speak for them. Might not be the kind of thing they carry a whole lot of.

I do recall seeing Filene's having blowout dress sales during prom season, so I'd assume they'd have a selection during the rest of the year as well.

There are quite a lot of options in the Short North. Again, I am not sure of your wife's style, so it is hard to say which. Your best bets, though, are us (of course) and Fibres or Substance for that price. You may be able to find something at Jinny or Rowes sale rack. Rowe, contrary to popular opinion is not really all that expensive.
If she/you are crafty at all, you can get some really amazing deals on basically anything white right now. If you stick to something you can wash in a conventionally machine, you can probably snag a white designer dress for upwards to 80 percent off. Grab some Rit and you've got yourself a 50 dollar designer dress.
Or, if you have the time, make the drive to Mansfield and go to Gabes.

Leal in Upper Arlington and sorry but Saks has the hottest dresses for all ages from infant to 100!!!! Cannot go wrong and they are probably having an end of season sale.....or splurge, it is your wife, it is a 20 year reunion......sooooooooooooooooo many cute things at Saks.
