Just wandering if anyone had any suggestions for locations serving pumpkin pancakes. The more central the better since I live close to downtown. I know Sunny Street Cafe has them. Suggestions? Actually, suggestions for pumpkin anything would suffice.

The Dispatch had an article about pumpkin dishes this week. The pumpkin French toast at the Angry Baker sounded good.
So far the pumpkin (and squash) things I have had this fall are:
pumpkin jinkie from Knead (really good)
pumpkin muffin from Pattycake (one of my favorite things there)
pumpkin ravioli at Rigsby's (or maybe it was squash)
roasted butternut squash soup at Latitude 41
pumpkin and amaretti cookie ice cream at Jeni's.The Circleville pumpkin show should be able to fix any pumpkin cravings!

I believe Hang Over Easy was doing pumpkin pancakes, too

And AJ at Sassafras Bakery has occasionally done bourbon pumpkin tartsPosted 1 year ago # -

I was hoping (and in the back of my mind knew) that Jeni's would have to have something pumpkin. Had the Sunny St. Cafe pancakes today. Not bad. Circleville pumpkin show....I'm already there. Thanks for the suggestions.

Forget the pumpkin FOOD--where's the pumpkin BEER? :P Anybody know of bars with some good pumpkin ale selections on tap? Bodega had Pumking a few weeks ago, but I think they stopped serving it as of last week.

Round Town's Punkin Show! You wouldn't go to Hyde Park for some tofu and you definitely wouldn't go to Taco Bell for a Big Mac. THE FUNKIN PUNKIN SHOW is the pumpkin menu capital of the world.

Tuesday 10/18 we will be hosting a Pumpkin Beer (and cider) Tasting. Also on the menu Pumpkin Penne Pasta with mushroom and Sage as well as pumpkin soup.
From our Facebook Event.
What’s worse than Christmas decorations up before Halloween? Well, it’s running out of pumpkin beer before October! It seems many of the brewers had their pumpkin beers out in August and didn’t anticipate the love of their pumpkin beers. Consequently many of the great pumpkin beers are either out of stock or hard to find. That’s why we hoarded some of these early on and have held them back for this event. Now some of them are in short supply so all may not be available the entire evening (But Pumking and UFO will be) so get here early. And you’ll also get to take home a Hal & Al’s Custom pint glass! And we’ll have Pumpkin food specials available like our homemade Pumpkin soup in a Brezel Pretzel bowl and pumpkin pasta dishes.
You’ll try 8 beers, 1 cider, sample our pumpkin soup and take home a souvenir pint glass for $15
The line up includes:
Southern tier Pumking
Harpoon UFO Pumpkin
Rivertown Pumpkin
New Holland Icabod Pumpkin
Shock Top Pumpkin
Blue Moon Pumpkin
Woodchuck Pumpkin Cider
OFallon Pumpkin
Brooklyn Brewery’s Post Road PumpkinAnd we’ll have 22 oz bottles of Southern Tier Pumking and 6 packs of Harpoon UFO Pumpkin available to purchase and take home.

This thread inspired me to make pumpkin pancakes this morning for breakfast. Mixed some pumpkin pie mix from a slice of Anne's pumpkin pie that she made yesterday into a regular batch of pancake batter. Yum!

Go get you some.Posted 1 year ago # -
Pumpkin Ravioli at Bonefish
Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake at Cheesecake Factory
Pumpkin Soup at Spagio
The best ever was pasta with pumpkin sauce at Noni's. Why do the restaurants with the greatest dishes go out of business?
I hope a restaurant reads this and tries to recreate that dish.Posted 1 year ago # -
