I know Santa is coming soon, was wondering what everyone is wishing for (tangible)? I would like world peace too....
Big or small, please contribute! this will be a great place to get ideas for yourself and others!

an ipod. yes i don't have one. i have a shuffle i workout with but i have way too much music for CD's for my car!!
and new contacts.
if anyone is looking for presents, i saw the cutest wreaths at andersons the other day. they have little OSU snowmen (and michigan and cleveland indians) in the middle. i'm going to get like 4 of them for presents.
A folding bike so I can stop whacking my knee on the damn cranks getting the bike out of my apartment. Son of a bitch hurts.
I drive my parents nuts when it comes to birthday and Christmas. I really don't "need" anything-I would rather just spend the time with family. Anymore I give them a handful of ideas of stuff for my apartment. Got a waffle maker today for my birthday (this is how I know I am getting older-the last few birthdays have included gifts like a crock pot, bread maker and now a waffle maker and couch.)
Well, I need cash, mainly to keep the heat on.
But I would really love a down payment to the new gym in my neighborhood, or maybe a new iPod, since mine has once again become the equivalent to carrying a toaster oven into the Apple Store.
Some good smelling candles
anything handmade
More than anything I'd like a treadmill and the space to keep it in. That could cancel out the gym membership
Hrmmmm.
I'm not big on asking for gifts, but I'll pretend that I were...
I'd ask santa forrrrrrrrr
an iPhone
or
off-road riding gear (motocross helmet, boots, etc...ooooh, maybe skidplate and handguards for my bike)
or
gift cards for clothes for work (booooring but necessary)
That's all I can come up with for my pretend Santa list.
I would like a large Rock Maple cutting board, and a PS3.
The only thing I really want is a French Press and a burr mill :D
I'd like a Northface Jacket and a car charger for my Iphone.
Wait...
Does this mean there's no tooth fairy or easter bunny either?
Well dammit.
i am in the same boat as most - i dont really ever know what to ask for. 1 - bc i dont NEED anything. 2. bc i hate to have people buy those things for me.
but. i did ask my parents to buy us (and that's the other thing, gifts now are for US, not ME) cold weather riding gear, window visors for the t-ruck, and maybe a few books or a new CD book. i love having CDs organized, and the stack of 50 or so is killing me everytime i see it.
But, it's not even Thanksgiving - so - Happy Turkey Day everyone.
I'm more in the boat of buying things than getting them now; in the last few years, I've acquired a small cadre of younger relatives, and I've got most of what I need, especially small-ticket stuff.
The only big-ticket item on my Christmas list is the G1, but I need to get that for myself because I need to sign up for my plan and all that stuff--and get the new-customer pricing because it's been long enough since I renewed. Oh, and I need another bookcase. That's pretty much it.
I think I may get my godson--my cousin on my dad's side's son--a wiffle bat and ball (he's 3).
I may get my 6-year-old cousin on my mother's side another couple of pounds of Erector set pieces. He built a working windmill while we were on vacation at Cape Cod--without directions--and set it in motion using a floor-standing fan. I think we have another engineer in the family. :)
I would like two round trip tickets to Montreal for me and my son---I am not into stuff more into experiences as they last longer---unless your memory fails. I want to take him to see La TOHU, Cirque du Soleil and the National Circus College!!
Same here gram, for the first time in a long time, with my niece and nephew, Christmas is fun again, as I get to patrol the toy isles and buy stuff that someone really wants.
My family and I agreed not to exchange gifts this year, since I'm buying a house and they're getting a bathroom renovated. So I haven't even thought about it.
But if anyone wants to get me something, I'd like an HD TV, plz.
We're feeling that "we don't NEED anything" pull, so instead of presents, we are donating to toys for tots and buying presents for needy kids. That is a present enough.
Warm socks and good whiskey. And a membership to the "Bacon Of the Month Club" would be nice. Honestly I wouldn't mind dispensing with gift-giving altogether though, except for the under-14 crowd.

I tell my family I need socks every single year, as the dryer monster hates me...and the one thing I ask for, I never...ever...get.
Instead, I always get at least one tie...which is great, since I wear a tie about once a year
Oh...and my annual cheap watch that sits in a sock drawer next to all the other watches I've gotten over the last 10 years that I have equal lack of interest in ever wearing.

I'd like that right now please.
And a couch.
And maybe I could have my bourbon in my coffee.
Yeah. I like that.
I want lots of things, but most of them I'll only get when I actually buy them, lol.
Blackberry Storm
New iPod with a car thingy
Flat screen TV - bigger than my tube, less obnoxious than Jim's.
A fairy to come paint my house while I'm in TX for Christmas
