I've noticed the past few times that I've been by there that many of the windows on the second floor and third floors of that building are busted up. Some are missing completely, just an empty brick opening. What's going on up there? The bar seems to be pretty well maintained, it seems crazy that the rest of the building is such a shithole. And I would think that the bar owners would be worried about rain and snow getting in and ruining the ceiling of the bar. When I drove by today, it looked like there was some rough framing in one of the windows but no drywall.
The auditor's website says that the building is owned by Andtrumperstein LLC.

Wow Motorist.....I am always so excited to get inside that I never notice the rest of the building...hmmmm. Maybe everyone will move out and Bristol can have an upstair lounge and call it one of the names I really want to call something!!!! Busted windows--that is craziness.

I don't think anyone lives up there unless they're squatting. I noticed it a month or two ago but forgot to post the question.
Or I posted the question and couldn't find where I posted it. In which case, I'm sure Walker will paste the link in here with a winking emoticon for me.

I have heard that there is some work going on upstairs and that the whole thing will end up being offices (I think there's one office there now). Next time I'm over there I'll ask.

I don't know if the building's habitable on the upper floors. Pretty sure that the fire escape was emasculated in order to put the entrance where it is.

Hopefully they are removing that big, long, dangling plank that hangs on by the tip of a nail on the balconeys out back. A little vibration or gust of wind will bring it down on someones head.
So until then, don't stand near the wooden bar on the back patio until that thing gets safely removed. :shock:

its a section of aluminum downspout... i would be surprised if it weighs five pounds. but yes, it should still be removed.

5 pounds or 50. A slab of aluminum coming down from 30 feet would seriously hurt someone or decapitated them.
