My wife and I bought three of Adam Brouillette's Little Red Men... a guy reading a book, one of the little animals, and one of the clouds... to put in our nursery for the little boy that will be joining us round about July 1st.

oh noes! There was so many good ones to choose from.
I picked up a 3 piece red number from Coreroc. They have a great mix of reds. There's some birds placed in there too. I think it was called Aviator 2 but I cant remember. (Walker and Anne picked up the other matching set)
The other piece I got was another Coreroc piece. It is an awesome piece of graffiti art. There's amazing texture in the background. It's also blacklight friendly!
So sorry if I snagged these up and you really wanted one of them. I hope you found another piece that you really liked!

My fault. I had the opportunity. I think the cash I got from selling some work came right after you purchased it.
Proof that things are first come, first serve... despite the blizzard.
I hope you enjoy them.
I will keep my eye on Core's work to get more.
Assuming he doesn't need to sleep for a month after the stress of contending with a level two snow emergency.

Yep, as Roland mentioned, we got the other three-piece red set from Coreroc. We're planning on painting one of our dining room walls a similar shade of red as an accent wall, so his peices will go adjacent on another wall. I think it will look great!
I hope to see C-Note become a regular event! Would be a great way to help young collectors build up their collections, and help local artists reach new audiences!

I bought 2 of Laura's pieces which are incredible, but I've got my eye on the bigger ones in the studio. Must sell more print ASAP so I can get those :)
The C-note concept was great for me who is intimidated by most of the art world. I would love to see this monthly, quarterly, whatever Coreroc can handle. I might actually get my empty walls filled after all!!

Yeah... maybe this could be an advantage for some people.... maybe Core will invite the artist to bring some additional work to replace some that sold.
Judging by the fact that so many pieces sold with only 100 or so people coming to the preview... I can imagine a snowless C Note would be nuts.

I thought about doing that... but I have alot of work in my studio that isn't $100 and I wouldn't want someone to get confused about things... or make Core feel like I am trying to sell more expensive items at a show designed sell at a price point.
Maybe he'll let us know how that works.
