Prep cook at TGI Friday's long ago, also the sandwich/salad chef at Deja Vu Cafe, where Ba Sho is now. Fun to make huge fruit salads.
Walker beat me to claiming CallTech -- I was the sole female on a second and third shift tech support crew for the most hellish three months of my life. (I would literally dream "Thank you for calling bellsouth.net, how may I assist you" for hours after coming home.)

that is funny, I thought the same thing when I looked at my job history
+1 to
Long's Bookstore (original on 15th) I worked for Brad Clucas
Ohio State University Library (Main) for Matthew Carmean
Grossest job had to be bussing tables at Damon's on Olentangy. People are gross to begin with, then add BBQ sauce! I won't even talk about the bug problem they may or may not have had. this was like 17 years ago, staff was awesome tho.

I was a cashier at Long's when I would come home from my college breaks. Did any of my fellow Long's alums work for Maria? She was ... memorable.
I've worked for 5 various departments at OSU for the past 6 years.
very boring.
I worked for the OSU Landscaping Dept. while I was in school, on the spray crew mostly. It was weird driving big tractors around campus (the same thing I had done during my rural upbringing). Blasting the tractor down the middle of the Oval, then swerving at the last second missing the William Oxley Thompson statue. On the second shift I had a route set up - first park in the bushes in front of the Law building and hitting happy hour at those bars, then drive north and hide the tractor, hit the north bar happy hours. Wobble back to the tractor and do a couple of hours of work (my boss was cool with this, I sometimes met him at the bars.)
Best job ever.
What years were you there? I ran the F Team.

At OSU? This is ancient history - 1976 to 78.
Most of my teaching jobs were in the suburbs but before then I worked at Grapes of Mirth in North Market for a delightful summer. Dave Bihn is just as gracious an employer as he is a purveyor of wines. Also spent a year as a secretary for a now-defunct company in Polaris area. Horrible, horrible place that fell apart due to inept management. I dare not speak its name in case it comes back to haunt me.

Yeah, Odin. if it wasn't narcolepsy, I don't know what it was cause he was always falling fast asleep mid conversation.

You really need someone to spell it out for you?
I also worked there with Odin. And before that with Dave who "got jumped with the night deposit" on several occasions.
