Happy Hour Review: Wine and Dine at Milestone 229

Last year, Milestone 229 was voted Best New Restaurant by ColumbusUnderground.com, and for good reason. The friendly service greets you right at the door, offering up your choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Outside, Milestone’s full outdoor bar allows patrons to enjoy the beautiful view overlooking the fountain, park, and amphitheater without missing a thing. For those who don’t necessarily enjoy the scorching heat of summer’s sun, Milestone’s all-window-paneled interior provides the same gorgeous outlook with the added benefit of air conditioning.

Hubbard Grille's Happy Hour runs 4 - 7 pm. 1/2 off all beer, $5 cocktails, $4 well drinks and $4 house wines. Plus all their shares are half off, too - that includes the mussels, calamari, spinach dip and the short ribs with shrimp and grits. Love the house made chips that come with the spinach dip.

Deepwood Unveils New Pu Pu Platter for Happy Hour

A good happy hour is all about discounted afterwork drinking, but a great happy hour has delicious food to match. When we heard that Deepwood recently revamped their happy hour “tavern menu” to add a pu pu platter, we knew we’d need to stop in and take a peek.
