I think there was a thread on this way back, but since the 'search' function doesn't seem to actually search topic names I'm damned if I can find it.
Anyway...
after much consideration of the events defining the period from 2000-2009 I think the only name that really sums the whole thing up is:
"The Ass Age"
It mostly stunk, we're going to be digging out from all the bullsh*t for years to come, and it was about as much fun as a proctological examination.
Forgive me if someone else thought of it first, but I think this is a good name.
