Thanks for the input. I'm still slowly working my way through the glitches. The scroll bar thing will be fixed soon. It's next on my list, but other things keep popping up.
I've been spending some time working on the search, and I agree that while it's a VAST improvement over the one on the old site (or have people forgotten that old thing already?) it's not cutting it for me either. I'll be implementing a new search feature most likely this weekend after a bit more testing.

I agree that the search doesn't seem to work very well. I tried a few times yesterday to search for this very thread and couldn't get it.
I'm getting used to the new messageboard format but I'm not digging the way recent news item changes shows up. I think what bothers me is all the comments after the headline. Maybe just the two most recent or something?
