hey everyone!
I've lived in columbus for the past 5 or so years. I'm a transplant from NE OH and have actually been an active visitor and reader of this site for quite awhile. I figured it was time to get involved! In addition, i think this a great online community and serves well as a resource to many things! I work in finance at a startup equity firm and look forward to joining the CU community. Thanks for listening!

Hello! I've been living in the Columbus area for 2 years, first in Dublin and now in the University District (Old North). I've grown to love this city--moreso now that we've relocated to an area that better suits our interests and needs--and I'm looking forward to many more years here! I've been lurking on CU for a while and figured it was finally time to register. So...hey!

Hello All- My name is Aaron. Most my friends ball me A.B. I'm 33 and have lived on OSU campus area (indianola & frambes) for 7 years but moved to Clintonville last June. I work in the brewery district punching numbers from 7-3 Monday through Friday and then I drink from 5-3 Friday - Sunday. I love Columbus and plan on spending my life here.
I just found out about this site from my roomate, I think I like it alot.

Bonjour guys! I posted my first message last night albeit a bit tipsy off wine and full of grammatical errors. I'm Columbus born and raised. Lived in D.C. for college for about 6 years and have been back for a good while now. I love Columbus and love the passion that most people have about this city. This site has made me jump on the road to visit my home town MANY TIMES back in the day. This site keeps me in the know and is one of the best city sites in the country IMO. so yeah... that's me. :)

Hi! My name is Darlene and I have lived in Columbus on and off for 18 years. I have always counted on Columbus Underground to know what is happening in Columbus..I love how it is right at my fingertips. I use it as my weekender, and to keep myself up to date several times a week. I never thought to post on the messageboards before until someone from C.U. suggested that I post an article about my husband. I'm a mom during part of the day, and an assistant to my hubby the other half. Helping with a book promotion, organizing schedules during book touring, and juggling kids is my specialty...and I love it. Also, my new endeavor..twitter. Good grief. So, if you love a good book, graphic novel, love to read..whatever..check out Rafael Rosado's

Hi all! My name is Mark and I am moving to Columbus for grad school in a little over a month :) I could not be more excited! I'm a lifelong Cincinnatian and just recently starting paying attention to Cbus and have to say I am becoming obsessed. So many great neighborhoods, a great urban feel, and an infectious progressive attitude. As many have said before here, I've been "lurking" for quite some time because of the excellent coverage of all things urban development, but I hope to get involved in the CU community to join the conversation about this amazing city!

Just joined up with you all for the first time at the CU Meetup @ the Dining Hall Saturday evening. Sorry I didn't have more time to meet many folks but, what awesome night with the Full Moon Fever going.
I've lived in around Cbus since the late 70's although I moved back and forth around the world in my travelin' days. I love Columbus, I'd be it's cheerleader but I don't think I'll ever fit in the costume. Seen a lot of changes, good and bad, around here since I first set steps in Cbus as kid in the 60's. Been living on the far North side for over a decade now and still finding new cool stuff about our city.
Looking forward to getting involved with CU and it's events this 2012 Summer of Doc!
