well you know that was in questioned, it how ever used to be 24 hours long ago, but you do know that the Kroger on chambers road is 24hours, but i do feel that it would be a nice Add on for not only the short north residents but also the campus kids...

Moving to Columbus. Funny that its not just people in Cleveland who hate Giant Eagle. High prices, dirty stores, poor customer service, and produce on the edge of expiration. Most of the Bakery's baked goods are frozen and 'baked' (meaning 'warmed') in the oven. Hopefully there is more grocery retail competition in Columbus besides Giant Eagle and Kroger.

Other than Wal-Mart and a couple of Costcos in the exurbs, no.

Well I will say there has been a night and day difference in this WP Kroger. It used to be in a very sad state. I used to drive to Clintonville or Grandview to do my real shopping, but not anymore. If I had to choose between GE or Kroger, Kroger wins hands down.

Individually, there are some really nice Krogers and Giant Eagles in Columbus, and I don't think I've ever encountered poor service, bad produce or dirty Giant Eagles in my circles in Columbus or Cleveland. The GEs in Strongsville and Brunswick, closer to you, were more than respectable.
As for the WP Kroger, I had some tasty eel (nigiri-zushi)at their sushi counter opening week that made me very happy.

If you're looking for live bullfrogs (to eat, I guess), the Crestview Market at Crestview & High has 'em.
I haven't seen any at the WP Kroger but I like shopping there anyway...
