Thanks to Mercurius I got to visit Weiland's Gourmet Market in Clintonville this weekend and it is definitely one of my new favorite places in Columbus to kill some time.
A whole room full of interesting beers to choose from (I'm TRYING to like more things), but still had standby 30pk of PBR for $13.99!
All the produce looked fresh, bright, and not extraordinarily expensive. Good cheese and bread selection as well as enough salsas on the shelves to keep me happy for a very long time!
I also saw some bacon wrapped filets that were the biggest I've seen since I moved here. I can't wait for grilling weather, yeah!! :lol:

I was quite impressed with the place too.
I can get muh groceries and bourbon all in the same place.
I think I'm going to swing by after work and grab some of those scallops I was eyeballing.

Their Brisket on the weekends is fantastic. The smoked salmon spread they make in house is also noteworthy. If you get there at the right time they might have freshly baked pies from Just Pies and you won't have to drive all the way up High street to get your fix. It might be the only grocery store I've ever been into that has the aisle set on a diagonal, which is cool in and of itself. Then you realize that the middle aisle (aka the longest one) is where the wine is, which means they dedicate the most space to the wine!
They just started selling Ohio Organic family milk products there which is a big plus, too, since Sunflower closed up shop.
