ladies drink half off till midnight
music is eclectic and is everything form 90s pop to current electro and hipster such as Deuce Poppi, justice, daft punk, Trae, slick rick, salt n pepa, boy 8-bit, teenagers, bloody beetroots, messy marv, B.O.B. dj sega, paul wall, prg'z, donnis, fanny pack, estelle, usher, south rakas crew, black kids, kanye, mano, ocelot, matt and kim, santogold, MIA, Lil wayne, gucci mane, kid sister, team canada, ja rule, bonde do role, busta ryhmes, nu schooz, cymande, black lips, diplo, crystal castles, whatever u want to hear we probably will play it, and people usually dance on wednesday as they do most nights at bento...
heres flics from two weeks ago when we had the philadelphyinz guest with us at bento go go... WEDNESDAY NIGHT
so yeah we throw down on wednesday night!

Ok....cool. That helps alot. I'll go thru my closet tonite, I'm pretty sure I have some of that stuff.
So wait...once I have all that stuff do I have to get beaten or "sexed in" or drive around with my headlights off until someone flashes theirs at me and then whack them? If so, I'll need to borrow someone's car as mine has automatic headlights.
Or am I instantly accepted once I have the proper gear?

Nah, hipsters couldn't possibly try to beat you up, for their bodies are much too frail.
Instead, they might try to "scene" you in.
This is where you compete over who knows the most obscure bands.
When on the defensive, make sure to answer with the most generic response possible, "Psh... everybody has heard of them, they're an experimental alt-crossover group."
When on the offense, make up a band name and when they haven't heard of it, scoff at them and tell them about how you were down with them when they played their first show on a street corner and how now they'll never put out an album because that would mean selling out to the man.

I def have a pair of pumas that noone else has and a pair of skinny jeans. Pack of parliments seems simple enuff. I don't think I can bring myself to wear anything with neon on it tho so I'll have to figure something else out. The 2% body fat thing is a HUGE problem, atm.
So perhaps I could be like, half a hipster?
Maybe I need a bad emo haircut.

All of these tips remind me of when I was a kid and my fam didn't have a lot of money. When halloween came around we'd dig thru the closet and throw some randomness together. I would go trick or treating and the neighbors would always be like..."Oh that's cute...what are you?"
If I knew about this stuff then I woulda been like..."I'm a hipster, man. Got any PBR?"

atleast people are using the term "hipster" as opposed to "emo"... i feel like one person didnt know what emo meant, and kept using it incorrectly over and over... and it spread around the world overnight... it has nothing to do with the way a person dresses or presents themselves.

By the way, my "top this" band will always be Suicide. I love those dudes, and I can't tell you how many hipster guys I've dispatched with that one.

as for hipster it's a well versed descriptive term in use since at least the 40's
