We had ours in the basement of the Brazenhead. They'll rent out that room off to the side in the downstairs area. Reasonable price, and it was lots of fun.

Due Amici and ZCucina have side rooms you can book.

I'm reviving this thread with a silly question - I've emailed Due Amici, Elevator, Flatiron, Latitude 41, Barrio, Martini, Graystone Wine Cellar, and Surly Girl Saloon so far for some inquiries about hosting a wedding rehearsal. Are there any other suggestions around the downtown area that I should try for about 30 people? Thanks much!

Tony's
they have a room in the back that might accomodate your party. We were there for NYE and the food and service were excellent.
(edit: damn, got caught up looking at Karens photos again, truely amazing at capturing beauty and the moment)

My sister had her rehearsal in the side room at Elemental on Parsons (now Black Creek Bistro). There's no door to isolate the side room from the main room, so you will hear noise from the patrons, but they were considerate enough to lower their voices when people were making toasts.

Schmidt's+1; we had our actual wedding dinner here (because we're classy like that) and it was great - the folks at Schmidt's were very nice and accommodating. We got the whole upstairs room, which was nice to be separated off from the rest of the restaurant.

Bexley Monk has a side room. I've been to a rehearsal dinner there (years ago) and food and service were great. Check it out at the meet-up next week.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Marshalls in Grandview; this list may help too.

I refer most of my clients to Due Amici. Deepwood is doing private events now but I have never used them for a rehearsal dinner. Burgundy Room is trying to grow their event business as well. Barley's has an event room in their basement. Hyde Park on the cap has a nice private space too.
Also some of the smaller galleries in the SN can be rented out and Rigby's can do the catering at one next to them (sorry the name escapes me right now). Hawk Gallery can be rented out as well. They are great to work with and very flexible.

Self promoting, of course, but minus the food (bring what you like best) but we've had some wonderful events here at Bristol.

I was just talking to Scott at Barcelona yesterday who mentioned that they've been doing more weddings and wedding receptions recently. They can easily section off a back portion of the restaurant and he said a lot of people book the patio too. ;)
Might be a good spot to consider. Sounds like their rates are fairly reasonable as well.update, since I started the thread. We did exactly the above and it was great. We had the whole back area sectioned off for our party.

katAll great choices, however Martini's can be unbearably loud due to the reflective surfaces, something to consider for a rehearsal dinner.
Brian Johnson, proprietor of the Wm. Graytone Winery is super nice, and it's a unique space for a rehearsal dinner.
My colleagues in Plaza Restaurant in Hyatt on Capital Square can take of your wedding party as well. They could accommodate you either in the area by the bar (pictured below), or by the fountain.
