We finally made it to Weaselboy Brewing last week and I’m glad we did because it was totally worth the trip!
Located on the Muskingum River in Zanesville, OH it was only about a 50 minute drive from C-Bus.
From I-70 Eastbound (Columbus)
Take exit 152 (US 40) towards Zanesville.
Turn right on pine (just before the Y-bridge)
Turn left on Muskingum Ave.
The storefront is small and unassuming and easy to miss if you’re not looking for it.
Do be sure to park across the street and not @ the nearby businesses, this is also communicated upon entering Weaselboy.

Once inside the place you are greeted by all the brewing equipment, I always like to see where they brew the brew.
The inside is nice and cozy and reminds me of one of my favorite bars here: Kafe Kerauc. They have some board type games around and plenty of cozy seating in addition to the nice bar seating.
The back patio is small
They have hops growing up the colums.
While small, the patio does offer some really nice views of the Muskingum River.
And now the reason for the trip, the Beer!
Ohhh the beer! To say it was good would be a huge understatement. I'm a big micro brew fan and these are some of the best I've had.
I started with the sampler
The addition of the pretzels was nice, allowed for us to cleanse the palate before taking on the next sample. A couple of places here should do that (hint hint Angelo)
They were all good.
My favorite is still the Bitter Sable Black IPA.
Such a complex beer I seem to notice something new about it every time. The smoky maltyness really plays well off the traditional fruity IPA taste.
If you've got the time, they've got the beer!
Now do yourself a favor get over there cause I can't drink it all myself!
