What we really need here in Columbus is a great deep dish Chicago style stuffed pizza place. The Uno's chain (near Tuttle Mall) is horrible. The best of the chain's would be Giordano's -- which is the best pizza in Chicago.

Your best bet is to have some Giordano's shipped in...but they don't ship them with any meat toppings :evil:

I agree about the stuffed pizza place but if you think Giordano's is the best you have never really had true Chicago Stuffed pizza. Try Chicago's Pizza.
Wayyyyy better and you can buy by the slice :-)
or there is a place with pot-pie pizzas but all in all Giordano's sucks!

Yup pretty good but try getting a single slice at 5am, not many of those places do that :-) plus it is right down the street from the Vic
Giradano's is a chain, the chain is ok (not great at all) in Chicago but try and go to Orlando and have a pie not the same at all!

In the department of random coincidences, the Brewery District Kroger sells frozen stuffed crust (not deep dish) pizza. And you can order it half baked from Edwardo's.
However, I think the majority of people nationwide are more familiar with deep dish pizza than stuffed crust.

Actually, I don't mind their pizza -- could take it or leave it. I just anticipated the inevitable "It's not Chicago pizza" reaction.

I'm just giving you a hard time. ;) It's not too uncommon to see the same places get suggested over and over with a very specific question like this one, but yeah... I know there are plenty of Chicago Deep Dish purists that aren't Fabian's fans. I'm guessing they're probably just tired of fighting that battle, as it's been done 100 times already.
