Is this just a decoy from the U.S to get our attentions away from the domestic problems (e.g. Wall Street, Congress and 2012) or is this actually real? I think its, both.

I may have missed it, but where in that update thread was "war with Iran" ever put on the table?

Nothing will come of this.

9/11 was terrorism, we went to war for that. This is terrorism and the Iranian Government funded it. If you put 2 and 2 together, it would be easy, like this. Terrorism = Bad, Iran supported Terrorism - Iran = Bad

I guess Eric Holder needs a distraction from Fast and Felonious

@Caleb - Uh, Iran = Bad has been the US equation for at least 35 years.
You just pull your head out of the Arabian sand or something?

Hmm, attempting to assassinate a Saudi ambassador = terrorism? OK, but killing a Bulgarian dissident with a poisoned umbrella? Comedy gold!

Wanna say they're calling it terrorism because the plot involved bombing ( with attendant collateral damage ) but you do have a point.

God, why didn't the Dems think of doing this before they got flushed out of Congress in 2010?
Yes, and I can see the sand falling out of your ears. There's no impending war with Iran, any more than there's an impending war with N. Korea. Not unless you're talking about turning Persia into a sea of glass, and that's not happening even in Rick Perry's fantasy world. If you don't recall, the neocons, otherwise known as the "Real men want to go to Tehran" fun bunch, aren't at the levers of power right now.

War seems antiquated anyways. With all the technology and force the US has, what's the point?

These are only rumors that I've heard. And its considered terrorism for yes, a bomb but also because it was planned to happen in the capital, where you know, our "government" is.
