The higher parking meter rates have made it easier in many places. There's only a few neighborhoods where it's hard to find parking (i.e., Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Wicker Park, maybe Andersonville and Lincoln Square on Friday or Saturday night). Finding parking in the Loop and River North is simple (lots of garages, probably too many), it's just expensive.
