I finally had an "a-ha" moment today when I figured out why Walker's name sounded so familiar (besides from posting on the forums!)

While I'd like to claim I was named after the photographer:

I was actually named after the truck racer:

His website is pretty awesome too:

What can I say? My dad was really into offroad/endurance racing about 30 years ago. :lol:

LOL...that's kinda cool actually Walk, and I have to say "Walker Evans" definitely does have a racing sound to it now that you've said it.

Why does "Walker" have a racing sound to it, exactly?
"Walking" =/= "racing"
:P

Walker Evans does have e red neck slant to it. What is you middle name? Otis?
Posted 4 years ago # -
Nope... even more
rednecksouthern than that.... Lee. :DShould someone start up a "Middle Name" thread?

Walker Lee Evans :shock:
Now you're sounding more like a Confederate General ;)

Funny, but I knew Walker for two years before I knew his real first name was Walker. He is and always will be Lee to me. Although it kind of confuses others if his name comes up in conversation cause they think I am talking about two separate people.
