There is no topic about this? We saw it last weekend, and went, could not believe there is a waffle house right on high in the middle of campus. This is unbelievable. First off, has anyone ever seen a waffle house not right off the interstate (polaris is about as far from the interstate as what I can think of)? Second of all it is an "urban" Waffle House? Never seen one built in this fashion. Right next to the Newport. 24 hours a day. Seems like the best idea ever. Can we get an interview with the owner? I am so curious if this is the first waffle house like this in the country. Have to say the servers there were the best I have experienced at a Waffle House, and honestly some of the most friendly I have experienced in Columbus period.

There was an announcement about it, but no discussion until now. I had heard it opened recently, but haven't been yet.
The only other "urban" Waffle Houses that I'm aware of are in Atlanta.

Need to check it out. I am sure it will do well. Still waiting for a 24 hour diner in the SN.

So it is not the first urban one. I really thought it was, but it makes sense that Atlanta would have a few. It seems like it might be a little small for the demand? I know every other waffle house is packed on the weekends, and all of them are in the boonies. I am a little too old to be hanging out on campus, but like someone said in the comments of the announcement it is a very short cab ride from almost anywhere in the central city, much closer than any other waffle house.

It's pretty much the same size as any other waffle house I've been in. I'm so glad it's there!

Drove by it late last night and there was a line running out the door. The franchise owner definitely landed a gold mine there with all of the OSU students and a thriving University District.

Can't say I'd ever wait in that sort of a line to eat waffle house, but it's been pretty good around lunch time.

I've vomited blood twice in my life.
The first time was after eating in a waffle house.
Never again.

There's a Waffle House on Georgia State University's campus. I avoid campus now that I've graduated, but I will have to make a trip down there for some hashbrowns and a patty melt.
