Jason, I appreciate your honesty throughout the entire process of your campaign. I also feel that you are passionate about your community AND the CAC. You are very knowledgable about what your future responsibilities will be as commissioner. Thanks for stepping up to the job! I voted for you and encourage others to do so!

Jason,
Although I would like to agree with Leetap, I have found numerous actions of dishonesty throughout your campaign. I am certainly glad to see that the majority of District 1 voters have seen through your misrepresentations and misleading statements (both written and verbal) about your opposition. I am sure that you and Mike hold your head high with the smear campaign that you ran.

I show more class than anything that campaign has done over the last several months. Not sure why Upper Albany West is even involved in this discussion. And for Pablo...while I appreciate you calling it taunting...I simply call it venting while holding my tongue throughout this whole thing while lie and innuendo where spread. I look forward to meeting you all in person at the annual South Clintonville block party and am sure we can have some very classy discussions.

It's you acting like a complete asswipe right now. You have made like 3 or 4 posts total ... go crawl back under your rock. You aren't a poster here, you are just a freakin' troll.

And thus the classiest members of the Columbus underground show their hypocrisy. I am officially crawling back under my troll rock. You continue your self indulgent rants about people showing class when it is more than obvious you have none yourself. Have a nice day.

Have a nice day.You were going back under your rock anyways ... you just jumped on here to act like an ass and gloat and taunt Jason and his supporters. You have ZERO class ... I hope Rob, the new member of the commission has more class than you but doubtful if he associates with the likes of you.

I jumped on here to clarify misinformation about Jason and his campaign. I never claimed to have class, just wanted to confirm that you had none either. Good luck with all of your future endeavors.

I think I will stick around and become a more active user now. Thanks for the prompting to do so.

Lets keep the personal insults out of this. There's no need for name calling. Thanks.

Please keep this thread civil. At the end of the day, we are all trying to accomplish the same thing and if we’re not united as a community we’re only fueling the dysfunction that we’re trying to eradicate.
That being said, let’s all congratulate, Mr. Wood on his victory. He put up a good fight and the nice thing about elections is those that vote are able to select who they want for their representation.
I know that my opinions and those of District 1 differ from the opinions of Mr. Wood and his supporters, so I’m hoping that he’ll keep in mind who he has been elected to represent.
I have been fielding many phone calls and questions from those in the community and please rest assured that I will remain active in my civic duties. I have been approached by a couple of organizations who have approached me about holding a leadership position. I will carefully consider these opportunities throughout the upcoming weeks.
I will continue to be active in the CAC Planning & Development Committee--the heart of new development by the CACâ€â€where I have been working on a number of tasks. Unfortunately, I have missed the past two meetings due to my campaigning. I’m looking forward to concentrating my efforts back where it matters.
I do want to make it clear that I will continue attending CAC meetings, but because I am simply a spectator again I may be absent from some of them this summer (as I was last summer) because I have a softball commitment.
Also, there has been some talk about a letter that I delivered which is supposedly from me and that was left on folks' front door steps. If someone has a copy, please drop it on my front porch or scan it and email it to me.
Ewagner, I think I know who you are but I am not certain. Please give me a call though. Let’s meet-up and I’d be happy to buy you a soda or a beer and I’d love to hear more about your opinions.
Thank you,

Jason,
Perhaps the misinformation was simply being propagated without your knowledge from a supporter. Kind of like my posts being undertaken with no knowledge from Rob. I do take it personally when there is misinformation being spread about someone I consider a good friend. As for who I am, I make no pretense and registered with my name. Unlike many other posters on the site, I do not hide behind inflammatory anonymous postings. What bothered me the most is that Rob has continued to verbally support you and your efforts in the community even through the entire campaign. When some of us were frustrated with the actions of others, he simply told us to let it alone and that you were working hard to improve the neighborhood and whomever won the CAC position between the two of you would be a good choice for Clintonville. Regardless, I do apologize for for my sour tones as they were emotional in nature and to protect a friend against unfounded comments.
I do thank you for all of the work you do to help make our neighborhood a better place and having more people like you, would do nothing but positive things for the community. I would be more than happy to take you up on that beer at some point and look forward to seeing you at the block party at the end of summer.
Best Regards,
Eric Wagner
