Volunteer to Keep ComFest Safe and Mellow

Thanks to all who signed up to volunteer at ComFest following my last post. We still need a lot of help, particularly with SAFETY. Jobs in this area include barricade workers (be the first to welcome folks to the festival!), roving patrol people (stroll the fest while you work!), and mellow safety (listen to music and help keep the crowds around the front of the stages safe).
More information and specific information on each of these jobs will be provided during pre-festival training sessions. Please sign-up today at http://www.comfest.com/forvolunteers.htm, if you like the low-police profile of our festival and want to keep it that way!

I could name several ways to achieve that warm fuzzy feeling. However none would really compare to being a part of Comfest>>>>

I forgot to mention that all volunteers get $16 in tokens which can be used for food and/or drinks as well as a volunteer-only t-shirt.
Thanks to all who join the effort to keep ComFest one of the only volunteer-run festivals of its size!

I signed up for the ComFest booth the other day.
Jodi, ComFest sounds similar (in spirit if not fact) to the Clearwater Festival of the Hudson Valley. I've been to that and enjoyed it quite a bit. If this is anything like that I'm sure I'll have a good time.

I signed up for the Friday night overnight cleaning crew. People had better throw their trash away this year or I'll be back on Saturday with a baseball bat.

Glad you're coming AND volunteering! It'll be a proper introduction to a Columbus institution and the positive energy the people of this city possess.

our greatest needs are in safety and clean-up & recylcing.
remember: ComFest Volunteers have more fun!! (in part due to the 16$ in tokens they receive for their 4 hours of work)

Its very easy and fun to sign up at comfest.com/volunteers. I am doing a Friday morning and Saturday morning security shift at the barricades.
